MealPreply Tech Limited ("MealPreply", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through the MealPreply mobile application (the "App"), how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

By using the App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Account data

  • Email address

  • Internal user ID

  • Profile data you choose to provide (if applicable)

2.2 Usage and device data

  • Device type, OS, app version

  • Technical logs and diagnostics

  • Feature usage events

2.3 Subscription and purchase data

  • Subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement status

  • Technical purchase and restore data

Important: payment card data is processed by Apple App Store / Google Play and is not stored by us.

2.4 Notification data

  • Push notification tokens

  • Notification permission status

  • In-app notification preference (enabled/disabled)

2.5 Photo data for AI calorie estimation
When you use the "Calories / Calculate" feature, we send:

  • Meal photo

  • Technical request metadata (for example: request timestamp, app version, technical request ID)

We do not send your email address or internal user ID in the AI request.

  1. Why we use data

We use data to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Deliver app content and core features

  • Manage subscriptions

  • Send notifications when enabled by you

  • Analyze app performance and usage

  • Provide AI-based calorie estimation from meal photos

  • Prevent abuse, improve security, and comply with legal obligations

  1. AI processing and permission

Before first photo upload for AI analysis, the App presents an in-app explanation of:

  • What data is sent

  • Who receives it

  • Why it is sent

Photo upload for AI analysis happens only after your explicit action in the App.
You can stop using this feature at any time by not submitting photos.

  1. Who we share data with

We share data only as needed with the following processors/providers:

  • Supabase (authentication, database, service infrastructure)

  • RevenueCat (subscription management)

  • OneSignal / Expo Notifications (push notifications)

  • Meta Facebook App Events (product analytics)

  • n8n.insaim.design (our integration endpoint for calorie-analysis requests)

  • OpenAI (AI image processing for calorie estimation)

We require providers to apply appropriate safeguards and process data only for legitimate service purposes.

  1. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country.
Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards consistent with applicable law.

  1. Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary:

  • Account data: while account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion if legally required

  • Subscription/technical logs: as needed for accounting, support, security, and compliance

  • Push tokens: while notifications are active or until disabled/deleted

  • AI photo data: only for the time needed to complete processing and related technical operations, unless longer retention is required by law or security needs

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access

  • Correction

  • Deletion

  • Restriction

  • Objection

  • Portability

  • Withdrawal of consent (where applicable)

The App is not intended for children under 16.
